Overview

Boccia is a precision ball sport, similar to bocce, and related to bowls and pétanque. The sport is contested at local, national and international levels, by athletes with more severe physical disabilities. It was originally designed to be played by people with cerebral palsy but now includes athletes with other severe disabilities affecting motor skills. In 1984 it became a Paralympic sport, and in 2008 was being practised in over fifty countries worldwide. Boccia [was] governed by the Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association (CPISRA) and is one of three Paralympic sports that have no counterpart in the Olympic program..
Zoltan Horvath, 12 November 2013

The Boccia International Sports Federation (BISFed) took over the governance of boccia from the CPISRA starting in 2013.

Federation flag

According to their brand guidelines, the logo consists of red and blue balls surrounding a central white ball (the target ball, called a jack). The shade of blue is coded as Pantone 301 and the shade of red is coded as Pantone 185. As the balls get further away the jack, the balls become transparent (by half each time). Page 148 of the Rio 2016 Olympic/Paralympic Flag Manual shows the logo on a white background. According to their member flag list (July 2015), the federation flag must be either 2:3 or 3:5 in ratio (along with other flags used at events, similar with Olympic protocol).

World Boccia is the brand representing the BISFed; it was started to be used in 2021 to introduce the world to the sport. It would be used at future competitions organized by the BISFed (outside of the Paralympics). (Source). The color scheme used by the sport brand is the exact same as the federation. The logo can be used on a flag, as seen at this 2024 event hosted in Zagreb, Croatia.

Flags at the London 2012 Olympics

The protocol manual for the London 2012 Olympics (Flags and Anthems Manual London 2012 [loc12]) provides recommendations for flag designs. Each international federation and international paralympics federation was sent an image of the flag, including the PMS shades, for their approval by LOCOG. Once this was obtained, LOCOG produced a 60 x 90 cm version of the flag for further approval. So, while these specs may not be the official version of each flag, they are certainly what the international federation and international paralympics federation believed the flag to be.
Ian Sumner, 10 October 2012

Last year Ian Sumner made some scans from the flag manual for the London 2012 Olympics (Flags and Anthems Manual London 2012) which provides recommendations for flag designs of international sporting federations.
For CPISRA - Boccia: PMS 485 red, PMS 285 blue, PMS 285 grey 40%, and PMS 285 grey 20%.
