Overview

Moribund "G5 Sahel" or G5S, based in Nouakchott, also called "Groupe des Cinq États du Sahel" (Group of the Five States of the Sahel), has a flag. « G5 Sahel "is an institutional framework for coordination of regional cooperation in development policies and security matters in west Africa. It was created on 16 February 2014 in Nouakchott, Mauritania. » After the withdrawal of Mali, Burkina and Niger in 2022/2023, only Chad and Mauritania remain in the group. (Source) The flag is the logo on a white background. This flag has been in use since 2018 (after Mauritania altered their flag).
