Albany Motor Yacht Club (United Kingdom)

Estb: 1971.
Location: Thames Ditton, Surrey.

Burgee: Pennant 1:3. White field superimposed by ALBANY (top) and M.Y.C. (below) a red triangle, all fimbriated red (outer) and blue (inner).

"The club name, rules, aims, Flag Officers, [and] burgee colour . . . were established [at the] first meeting [in 1971 at the Albany Hotel, Thames Ditton]. At the second meeting 25 designs for the burgee were presented from which 4 were used to compile the current design. The red triangle in the middle is the Bass triangle from the brewery associated with Albany Hotel.
