Description of the flag

"The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) was formed on December 2, 1907 and is the world’s longest established professional sportsperson’s union. It cares for the welfare of players and its aims are to protect, improve and negotiate the conditions, rights and status of all professional players by collective bargaining agreements. This includes advice on injury insurance and training
after footballers' playing careers."

The flag is a grey horizontal flag displaying the logo ( on the middle and displays a quote by Nelson Mandela below, in white capital letters as follows: "EDUCATION IS THE GREAT ENGINE" and below "OF PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT" NELSON MANDELA (in smaller font size than the previous quote).

There's a traditional banner (which seems to be commemorative) "made in 1991 by John Midgely of Chippenham Design (official website:, and was designed for the 'More Than a Game' exhibition at the People's History Museum. The flag is made of acrylic on polyester and it measures 180 cm (height) x 200 cm (width)."
