Bodilis (Breton: Bodiliz - 1,723 inhabitants on 2,008 ha) is a commune in the Finistère department.

The commune of Bodilis boasts a number of historic buildings, particularly in the village center, including the parish close and the parish church of Notre-Dame, built in the 16th century.

Flag of Bodilis

The arms are blazoned:
Barry of six of Sable and Or, overall a griffin Gules, the chief Argent three ermin spots fesswise.

Bodilis, formerly a trêve (subordinate parish) of Plougar, was divided into six cordellées: Le Bourg, Mouster-Paul, Coat-Sabiec, Ninivit, Le Plessix (or Le Quinquis), and Lambezre. These six territorial divisions are symbolized on the coat of arms by six horizontal bars in yellow and black—the colors of the Léon region. The trêve originated from the monastery built by Saint Paul (Mouster-Paul), an event commemorated on the coat of arms by the dragon vanquished by that venerable figure. The ermines place the commune within the Armorican peninsula. The coat of arms was designed by Bernard Le Brun and adopted by the municipal council on June 25, 1991.

According to Pascal Vagnat's (emblemes.free.fr) personal archives, the flag of Bodilis was a banner of arms.
No flag observed in the recent years.
