Symbols of San Miguel de Bernuy

The flag and arms of San Miguel de Bernuy are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 29 March 2003 by the Municipal Council, signed on 20 May 2003 by the Mayor, and published on 13 June 2003 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 113, p. 8,693 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, vertically divided in two parts with proportions 1/3 at hoist and 2/3 at fly, at hoist red with a sword pointing upwards, at fly white with two horizontal wavy blue stripes of 1/10 the flag's hoist.
Coat of arms: Argent an Archangel St. Michael [San Miguel] gules ensigned with two pines vert eradicated in point wavy azure and argent. Chapé gules a spike or dexter another sinister. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
