Description

Red flag with a yellow hoist stripe as wide as 1/3 of the flag's length. Centred on the division line, two counterchanged keys crossed in saltire, separated from both top and bottom by 1/9 of the flag's height. Ratio 2:3.

The flag is a banner of the arms (blazoned Per pale Or and Gules two keys in saltire counterchanged) offset to the hoist. The keys are the attribute of St Peter, the local patron saint. Flag adopted 24th July 1998. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001.
