The municipality of Navalmoral de la Mata (17,298 inhabitants in 2017; 15,596 ha) is located 120 km north-east of Cáceres and 50 km south-east of Plasencia.

Flag of Navalmoral de la Mata

The flag of Navalmoral de la Mata, adopted on 31 July 2002 by the Municipal Council is prescribed by an Order issued on 26 January 2006 by the Government of Extremadura and published on 11 February 2006 in the official gazette of Extremadura, No. 18, pp. 2,031-2,032 (text).
The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular, blue with a yellow mulberry bearing purple fruits, surrounded by a white bell and a white horn.

The flag is a banner of the municipal arms.
While being represented on the Order with proportions 1:1, the flag is used with proportions 2:3 (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo).

The coat of arms of Navalmoral de la Mata, adopted on 3 March 1998 by the Municipal Council and validated on 5 April 1998 by the Assessing Council of Honors and Distinctions of the Government of Extremadura, is prescribed by an Order issued on 12 November 1998 by the Government of Extremadura and published on 5 December 1998 in the official gazette of Extremadura, No. 140, pp. 9,044-9,045 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Azure a mulberry or fructed purpure surrounded dexter by a bell argent and sinister by a horn of the same. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.

The mulberry (moral) makes the arms canting.
The horn recalls that the town was crossed by sheep during transhumance.
The bell (campana) recalls that the area is called Campana de la Mata.
