Sonderhofen Coat of Arms

Shield Azur a fleur-de-lis Or, chief Argent charged with a lion passant guardant Sable tongued Gules.
Meaning:
A local monastery, dedicated to St. Mary, gained privileges by King Otto II in 963. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of St. Mary. The lion is that one of the Princes of Hohenlohe.
