Meaning:
The mount (German: Berg) is a canting element. The area had been a condominion. The vulture (German: Geier) is taken from the arms of the Cupbearers of Geyern, the tinctures white and black are those of the Margraves of Ansbach, and the tinctures white and blue are those of the Dukes of Bayern. The shade of blue here is Bavarian Blue.
