Laberweinting Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a pale wavy Argent, at dexter Azure an embattled tower Argent, at sinister Gules a bend Argent.
Meaning:
The pale wavy is symbolising the four rivers or creeks touching or crossing the area of the municipality. They are Große Laaber, Kleine Laaber, both also name givers, Bayerbach and Trabach. The tower originally had been a representation of Laberweinting Castle, seat of a district (Bavarian: Hofmark) between 1442 and 1448, owned by the Fraunberger kin. After the incorporation of Eitting, Grafentraubach and Graßlfing in 1972 and of Allkofen, Haader, Hofkirchen and Weichs in 1978. The tower is also representing the castles Grafentraubach, Eitting and Habelsbach. The sinister half displays the arms of the Bishopric of Regensburg, which owned estates in the village since the 13th century. The local parish church and its subsidiaries had been incorporated into the Chapter of Regensburg.
