Böbrach Coat of Arms

Shield Azure parted by an abased fess wavy Argent, above a beaver salient Argent, in sinister chief an apple Or.
Meaning:
Fess wavy and beaver together are canting, as the name of the municipality is derived from "Biberach", which is a water, where beavers live. Both elements are also referring to the beaver well on the local market square, built in 1995. The golden apple is an attribute of St. Nicolas, the local patron saint. The tinctures white and blue are those of the Wittelsbach kin, who ruled the area since the 13th century.
