Egglham Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Gules a bend raguly Argent, beneath Argent a sinister facing horse passant Gules.
Meaning:
The bend raguly is taken from the family arms of the Counts of Ortenburg, who had been reeves in Egglham and owned large estates since 1210. The horse is alluding to the importance of local horse breeding in the valley of the Rott River.
