Dietersburg Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a chevron reversed Or pointing on an abased fess Argent, issuant from chevron a fleur-de-lis Argent.
Meaning:
The reversed chevron is the heraldic symbol of the Lords of Baumgarten. They named themselves according to their namesake ancestral seat. They were first mentioned around 1130. Dietrich of Baumgarten is said to be the builder of the name giving Dietrichsburg Castle, the core of the later municipality. The chevron is also representing the former Baumgarten municipality, which was dissolved in 1971. The fess is taken from the arms of the Counts of Hals, who acquired Baumgarten and Peterskirchen, after their predecessors had died out in the 14th century. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of St. Mary, patron saint of the local church of Assumption.
