Eging Coat of Arms

Renaissance shield Argent two eradicated firs Vert in fess, base Vert cobblestones issuant Argent.
Meaning:
The number of cobblestones (6) is not mentioned in blazon. The stones are in complete disorder.The firs are symbolising the location near the slopes of Bayerischer Wald, a forest. The cobblestones are symbolsing the main local business line. The stones first were produced by hand and later by industrial production.The arms were approved on occasion of the elevation to a market town in 1953. Since 1818 Eging had been the name of a simple municipality. In 1956 the current town was formed by a merger of Obereging, Untereging, Albersdorf und Preinting.
