Kellmünz Coat of Arms

Shield Or, a gonfanon Gules with three annulets Argent at its top, issuant from base a demi-lion Gules armed and tongued Azure.
Meaning:
Between 1268 and 1792 with minor interruptions the town belonged to the Counts of Rechberg, who granted the rights of a market town around 1330 and made the town capital of the Lordship of Illerreichen. The demi-lion is a differentiation of their family arms. The gonfanon is taken from the arms of the Palatine Counts of Tübingen, who also owned large estates in the villages.
