Maitenbeth Coat of Arms

Shield parted per bend, above Or a raven flying Sable with a chip of wood Gules in his beak, beneath Azure a horse forcene Argent bridled of the same.
Meaning: According to an urban legend a raven carrying a bloody chip of wood from Neukirchen to the building lot in Maithenbeth "chose" the place where to build the local church. The bridled horse is taken from the arms of the Imperial County of Haag and the Gurren of Haag kin.
