Ubstadt-Weiher Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Azure, a throughout cross faceted Argent, at sinister Argent, an orb Gules fixed Or and topped by a cross Or.
Meaning:
Ubstadt and Weiher merged in 1970. Stettfeld and Zeutern were incorporated later. All municipalities had proper arms, based on local seals from the 18th century, which displayed either the local patron saints or their attributes. The cross of the Bishopric of Speyer is a connecting symbol, as all former municipalities belonged to the bishopric since the 13th/14th century until 1802. The orb is taken from the arms of Ubstedt, created in 1907. Already in the 18th century the local symbol of Ubstedt had been a bushel (German: Sester) connected with a cross, but it had been described as an orb.
