Sulzfeld Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a cloud Argent issuant from the dexter edge, a naked arm with a short sleeve Argent, coming out of the cloud, holding a grain ear Or.
Meaning:
The settlement had been an appendix of Ravensburg Castle, erected by Ravan called Göler in the 13th century. The Barons Göler of Ravensburg had been local rulers until 1805. The arms appeared first on a town seal with prints since 1777. The background of the shield was given as blue in Petra Sancta code. The shield was crested also in later seals from the 19th century. The arm without armour is expressing the self-confidence of the local farmers in opposition to their rulers. The 1901 the tinctures were completed and the crest was omitted.
