Shield Gules, an orb Azure with bracket Or and topped by a cross trefly Or.
Meaning:
Formerly a dominion of the Palatine Counts, Eppelheim was acquired by the Margraviate of Baden in 1803. The arms are based on a court seal having prints since 1699. The tinctures were fixed in 1900. The orb (German: Reichsapfel, which means literally "Imperial apple") had been a local symbol and is a punning element, as Eppelheim means "home of the apples". Eppelheim gained city rank on 1 November 1998, published in GABl 676/1998.

The arms were adopted in 1900. The banner was approved on 16 May 1959 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 331/1959.
