Rot am See Coat of Arms

Shield Argent with base parted per fess wavy of Vert and Argent, issuant from base three eradicated poplars Vert set in fess.
Meaning:
The pattern appeared on a local mayor's seal from 1930, but it is probably based on an earlier seal from the 19th century. The colours had been mentioned already in 1919. The arms are canting and symbolising forest clearance (German: Rodung) on the shores of a lake (German: See).

Banner and arms were approved/confirmed on 3 July 1981 by Schwäbisch Hall County.
