Lenting Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Or three heraldic roses Gules at the end of three stems Gules growing from one stem, beneath Sable three balls Or ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The upper half is taken from the family arms of the Grumbach kin, owner of the local district (Bavarian: Hofmark) between 1498 and the 1560ies. Most fame had Argula of Grumbach, who supported the doctrine of Martin Luther since 1523. The three roses are also representing other kins of noblemen, who owned the district. The golden balls are an attribute of St. Nicholas, the local patron saint.
