The shield is green with a golden bordure, displaying seven silver men, holding a spear.
Meaning:
The village's name might be derived from "field of Swabians", If it is so, the seven men might refer to "The seven Swabians", a fairy tale, published among others by Brothers Grimm and Ludwig Bechstein. The Swabians, being cowards and fools, were hunting a "monster" with only one spear. The monster however turned out being a rabbit in the end.
