Maihingen Coat of Arms

Shield Gules parted by a saltire Or, inescutcheon Argent charged with two bear paws Gules in saltire, armed Or.
Meaning:
The golden saltire is taken from the arms of the Counts of Oettingen, former local rulers. The inescutcheon displays the family arms of the Lords of Maihingen. The kin lived in the village between 1280 and 1372 and its members were vassals of the Counts of Oettingen.
