Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg new flag

The Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg arms show a stylized depiction of the Oberbaumbrücke bridge built 1894-96, whose name recalls a medieval bridge which joined Berlin and Cölln. The bridge is the main transport link between the merged districts of Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg and symbolises their union. Adopted 7 Oct 2003.
