Walkertshofen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale of Gules and Argent, an embattled fess Or, issuant from base a triplemount in counterchanged tinctures.
Meaning:
The fess embattled is alluding to the castle of the Lords of Walkertshofen. The tinctures red and white are referring to the close relationship between the Chapter of Augsburg and the village. The triplemount is taken from the arms of the collegiate church of St. Maurice in Augsburg, which owned large estates in the village.
