Flachslanden Coat of Arms

Shield Gules an annulet Argent, mantled Or, at dexter charged with a flax blossom Azure seeded Or, at sinister with an impending facetted cross patty Sable.
Meaning:
The blossom is a canting element. The cross is representing the Virnsberg commandery of the Teutonic Order. The annulet is taken from the arms of the Lords of Birkenfels. The tinctures Argent and Sable are those of the Margraves of Brandenburg-Ansbach.
