Rájec-Jestřebí municipality flag

Rájec-Jestřebí is a twin town in Blansko district, in the South Moravian region in the Czech Republic.
At this website are flag and arms of RJ - "jastreb" = hawk; "raj" = paradise, but "rajče" = tomato - Rájec and Jestřebí are separated by the mighty Svitava river, which explains probably the wavy stripe on the arms.
The site mentions 14 Oct 2004 - but states also that it is a proposal..

I discovered in the www.fotw.net sites a flag and coat of arms of a twin town Rajec - Jestrebi in Blansko district , 30 km north of a town Brno .
The flag and a arms, wich showed the sites is wrong!
Please look at Ralf Hartemink's site.
This twin town was two separate municipalitie until the 1960s. In that year they merged to form one town.

Blazoning of right coat of arms of Rajec - Jestrebi: Vert , in lower part an argent plough saltire an argent spud . Chief gules an argent hawk with outstretched wings . An argent dancetty barrulet between.
The name of village Jestrebi is probably derived of a name hawk . From one information is a name Jestrebi derived of a word - is to need - in old czech language - jest treba. Around the village were dark forestes and to be need cut down it . The origin name of village Rajec is by old maps Reyz . The name of the town is not derived of the word - paradise - raj .

Meaning: A silver plough and a silver spud symbolized an agrocultur of village Rajec. From the hawk is probably derived a name of village Jestrebi. A silver dancetty barrulet symbolized a industry in new twin town Rajec - Jestrebi.
