Isle Madame Boat Club (Canada)
Estb: 1976. Location: 376 Robins Road, Arichat, Nova Scotia.
Burgee: Pennant (slightly truncated) approx. 6:10 (web image). White field charged with the vertical white letters IMBC on a red stripe (<2 units wide) adjacent to the hoist and a blue anchor (3 units from hoist) fouled with yellow rode, and a yellow star (6 units from hoist).
"The club was founded under the name the Arichat Boat Club [and] was incorporated under the name Isle Madame Boat Club [in 1986].” "Through the generosity of Clem Boucher and his family and that of Virginia Garrison, land was donated and assembled to create the IMBC. In addition, the old government wharf, part of the site, was purchased from the Crown and functioned as a breakwater to protect the first iteration of the marina."
