Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada, on the south bank of the Saint Lawrence River just east of Montreal. It lies on the west flank of Mont Saint-Bruno, one of the Monteregian Hills. It merged with Longueuil in 2002 but de-merged in 2006.

The two black chevrons charged with ermine spots, a symbol of lordship,
represent the first and last lords of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. The white
chevron and the acorns comes from the arms of the Boucher lineage, first lords
of Montarville.
Azure blue is a symbol of joy, knowledge, loyalty and
clarity. Red is a symbol of greatness, audacity and valiance. Green represents
greenness, meaning hope, growth and development. Black is a symbol of firmness
and vigilance.
The shield is supported by two maple branches proper tied
gules in saltire.
The French motto "FIERS DE NOS TRADITIONS" reads "Proud of
Our Traditions", recalling the exemplary ancestors.
