The flag of the City of Revelstoke, British Columbia, is white with city
emblem specially designed for the flag. It shows a grizzly bear in brown
standing on a brick foundation with greenery around, and a shield with previous
logo of the City of Revelstoke which also was developed by a public contest in
1971. The designer was Dave Williams. This logo was a requirement to be included
in the City's contest for an official flag. On the bottom a blue ribbon with two
flowers on the ends and "REVELSTOKE" in white. The flag was chosen through a
public contest in 1990. Information and photo of the flag thanks to Teresa
LeRose, Deputy Director, Corporate Administration.
