Lautertrans, established at Deurne (Antwerp), was founded in 2003. Lauter is the name of a family active in shipping since generations.

The house flag of Lautertrans is blue with the name of the company, written as a large initial "L" next to the hoist and the rest of the name "AUTERTRANS" following (but raised and smaller); all letters are white, no serifs. The intial sustains, or underlines, the three letters "AUT".
