Description of the Flag

The town of Snow Hill is the county seat of Worcester County, Maryland. Founded in 1686 on the Pocomoke River and possibly named after the Snow Hill neighborhood of London, England, Snow Hill is considered a suburb of the city of Salisbury, Maryland.

The flag of Snow Hill can be seen online in a photograph from the Maryland Municipal League's 2013 Parade of Flags. The flag features the town's logo in purple on a white field. The logo has the words "SNOW" over "HILL" toward the hoist, with a scene of the town in purple and white toward the fly. The scene includes a house, the cupola of the county courthouse, and a sailing ship against the dock. Below the scene, in purple letters, are the words "300 years on the River" above "1686 - 1986."
