A white flag with a town seal in blue in the center. The seal features a clock tower, above the motto PROGRESSUS CUM STABILITATE (progress with stability). In a blue ring are the town and state name and date. Maynard is in Middlesex County.

Location: Central Eastern Massachusetts, bordered by Stow on the West and Southwest, Acton on the North, Concord on the Northeast, and Sudbury on the East and Southeast. Maynard is 25 miles Northwest of Boston, 24 miles from Worcester, and 18 miles from Lowell."
