About the flag

A Portuguese company based in the Azores. The logo includes the flag I’m sending. The flying bird is not well visible, but it looks more like some kind of seabird than like a hawk. It’s quite a nice flag, in my humble opinion.
Jorge Candeias, 31 Jan 1998

The white and blue background pattern of this flag consists of the International Signal Code letters Mike and Alpha, which are the company’s main initials.
António Martins-Tuválkin, 10 Dec 2001

I saw in the Lisboa Port on 22 May 2006 the flag hoisted on a cargo ship and it shows no swallow tail (destroying the said ICS spelling). I presume bowing to textile imposition and/or tearing resistence.
António Martins-Tuválkin, 12 May 2008
