Shield Argent, a pair of scales Purpure balanced by a flamy sword of the same, flanked by two pens Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PENA - VILA REAL". Meaning: Sword and scales are attributes of St. Michael. The pens are canting elements.
