It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a field quartered of white and green (town rank).

The arms are Argent a cross of St. James between to crows respectant Sable and in base a comital coronet Vert bejewelled Or. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "QUINTA DO CONDE".
Meaning:
"Quinta do conde" means "Count's manor" and the arms show a partly canting charge, the coronet. The other elements stand for a St. Vincent Monastery (crows) and tfor the Order of St. James (cross fleury fitchy Gules).

Presentation of Quinta do Conde

Quinta do Conde Commune is one of the three communes of the Sesimbra municipality (q.v.). This commune had 16 567 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 14,22 km².
