Coat of arms

Shield Argent with base wavy of Vert and Argent, a fowl anchor Azure, in chief a rake with 6 thorns Azure and a mattock Azure crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "AGUÇADOURA".
Meaning:
Rake and mattock are symbolizing agriculture as most important business line. Anchor and base wavy are symbolizing that the commune is located on the shores of the Atlantic, and furthermore fishery.
