It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a field quartered of green and yellow.

The arms are Or a cross fleury Vert cornered by two cork oak twigs Vert acorned Gules in chief and two bunches of gapes Purpure leaved and stalked Vert in base. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "CABEÇÃO".
Meaning:
"Cabeção" means "big hillock", but the arms are not canting. The Avis Cross, an often charge, stands for the local historical importance of the Avis Order, while the other charges stand for local products.

Presentation of Cabeção

Cabeção Commune is one of the four communes of Mora Municipality (q.v.); it had 1259 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 47,44 km².
