Coat of arms

The arms are Sable an olive tree Or fruited Argent and on a base wavy Argent two barrulets wavy Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "OLIVEIRA DO DOURO - CINFÃES".
Meaning:
"Oliveira do Douro" means exactly "Olive tree on the Douro", the latter being the local river symbolized by the base, and thus the tree and the wavy base make these arms fully canting.
António Martins-Tuválkin, 8 May 2010

Flag and arms adopted and published in the official journal Diário da República: III Série on 18 January 2001
