Coat of arms

[Bobadela (Boticas) commune CoA (-2013)] image by Sérgio Horta, 22 May 2009

The arms are Argent a local barroso-breed cow passant proper, in chief two lozenges Gules, in base wavy Azure a fess wavy Argent charged with a trout Gules. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "BOBADELA - BOTICAS".
Meaning:
"Bobadela" means "small vault" (arch. dim. of "abóbada") and thus the arms are not canting.

Flag and arms adopted and published in the official journal Diário da República: III Série in 2003.05.27
