Shield Or, a palm leaf Vert over a sword Gules hilted Sable, both crossed per saltire between a paly branch of oak Vert fruited Gules at dexter and a paly branch of olive Vert fruited Sable at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "S. FACUNDO".

Shield Or, a valley Vert issuant from a base wavy Argent semy of wavelets Azure, in chief three millstones Azure ordered 1:2. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "VALE DAS MÓS".
Meaning:
The commune's name means "valley of millstones". The arms are thus canting.
