Blazon: I blått tre sølv åregafler, 2-1. In English: Azure three oarlocks argent.
Approved by the royal resolution of 17 February 1989, after a drawing by Even Skoglund, after a public competition was run in 1987 producing 8 heraldically correct designs.

The choice of design was then explained: "It refers to Tjøme link to shipping, fishing and hunting. At the same time it symbolizes the three islands Tjøme, Brøtsø and Hvasser."
