Lebanese Yacht Club

[Lebanese Yacht Club (Lebanon)]
image from LYC website, 16 March 2012

The burgee of the Lebanese Yacht Club is visible in this photo: horizontally divided dark red/blue, thinly fimbriated white and charged with a thin white cross whose horizontal arm serves as the dividing line between the colors and whose point of intersection is shifted toward the upper hoist. The resultant small canton charged with the national cedar in white, while the lower fly contains the letters "L.Y.C" (oddly, no final period) and on another line and smaller "Lebanese Yacht Club," aligned up and hoistward.
Oddly enough, the burgee is somewhat similar in colors and layout to the flag of the United Phoenician Party.

St. Georges Yacht Club

Affiliated with St. Georges Hotel; its flag appears in photos http://www.bloggingbeirut.com, but furled, so it can't be made out better than rectangular and yellow with a seal.
