The city emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 2005 by Notice No 20 but there is no flag law. The white flag has an orange,a green two color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 宍 Shi of Shiso. It represents an image of the children who are enveloped with an abundant green in Harima to shine brightly and grow strongly and an image of the city which developes with co-existence of the people and the nature.
