The Flag

The flag of the city of Ishioka is blue with mark. The symbols are codified in Notice 324 of 29 June 2018. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana い I of Ishioka. It represents a peaceful city administration and the development. The blue background is Munsell Color 6.9PB2.6/10.1 and has a ratio of 2:3. The emblem is 3/5th of the height of the flag and the emblem is placed 1/100th towards the hoist.

The city emblem was adopted on Oct 1st 2005 by Notice No 7 but there is no flag law. The purple flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana い I of Ishioka. It represents a peaceful city administration and the development.
