Presentation of Vuka

The municipality of Vuka (1,312 inhabitants in 2001, 1,059 in the village of Vuka) is located 20 km south-west of Osijek. The main village was established in the mid 18th century, first named Josipovac, soon simply renamed after the river of the same name on which it had been built.
