The municipality of Draž (2,763 inhabitants according to the 2001 census, 505 in the village of Draž) is located in the farthest north-east of Croatia, on the borders with Hungary and Serbia.

Flag of Draž

The symbols of Draž are prescribed by Decision Odluka o donošenju grba i zastave Općine Draž, adopted on 19 September 2001 by the Municipal Assembly and published on 31 December 2001 in the Municipality official gazette Službeni glasnik Općine Draž, No. 3.
The symbols are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut Općine Draž, adopted on 14 July 2009 by the Municipal Assembly and published in Službeni glasnik Općine Draž, No. 3.

The symbols were approved by the Ministry of Justice, Administration and Local Self-government on 20 December 2001.

The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka.

The flag is in proportions 1:2, blue with the coat of arms in the middle.

The coat of arms is "Or between a pair of deer antlers gules a carp nainant azure".
Hunting and fishing are two traditional activities here, and have been so for ages.

The ceremonial flag is a gonfanon with three pointed tails, on a light blue field with the coat of arms in the middle ornamented above with the name of the municipality and below with a grapevine branch with grapes.
