Presentation of Justel

The municipality of Justel (114 inhabitants in 2010; 509 ha) is located in the northwest of Zamora Province, 130 km from Zamora.

Symbols of Justel

The flag and arms of Justel are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 27 July 2000 by the Municipal Council, signed on 17 August 2000 by the Mayor, and published on 6 September 2000 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 173, p. 10,819 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, made of two vertical serrated stripes, the stripe at hoist red with three white Greek crosses, the stripe at fly yellow.
Coat of arms: Per pale serrated, 1. Gules three Greek crosses argent per pale, 2. Or an oak eradicated vert ensigned with a roe deer gules. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
