Flag of Estellencs

The flag of Estellencs, as seen in May 2009 at the Town Hall, is horizontally divided in six red and green stripes.
A grocer told me of the existence of the flag charged in the center with the municipal coat of arms, on a light blue field an olive tree proper, set upon a hill with broken, brownish pieces of soil. She told me that that the flag was the winning design of a competition held among the local pupils. In the reconstructed image above, the shape of the coat of arms is modelled on the stone carved image above the Town Hall's door. The colors are taken from Escuts heraldic dels pobles de Mallorca by Francesc Suarez, edited by the Majorca Insular Council.
